For me, the button event doesn't seem to be truly lost, just stuck somewhere. For example, sometimes when I tap one of the buttons, nothing happens until I drag on the touch pad and then then expected tap- initiated operation occurs. It's as if adding another event behind the tap will flush-out the tap event.
