additional comment/description - obviously I am slower than you. I am very sorry about that. Last night I got the thought, that the screensaver-thing is only a side-effect:
Since the PC is booting without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf, a second odd behaviour is gone: During booting I had to move the mouse continiously without any break, only then I got the final X-desktop after the login screen (I changed to auto-login-mode). Otherwise I got also a black screen with the propietary driver. Ctrl+Alt+F[1-12] did not work, also Ctrl+Alt+- / Ctrl+Alt++. Same happened without propietary driver, beside a black screen also a scrambled colourful in low resolution was passible. Work-around: Booting into safe-mode, manual startx, and now the problems were gone, IF I made only reboots. UNTIL PC-shutdown, after that I got the described screen-problem again.
