Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
Ubiquity in Kubuntu lucid desktop from image: "lucid-desktop-amd64.iso 24-Feb-2010 19:33 686M Desktop CD for 64-bit PC (AMD64) computers (standard download)" not properly suggests default hostname to "-laptop-laptop-laptop-laptop-laptop". It looks like it's getting in a loop... and doesn't get username from dialog to combine hostname. Ubiquity doesn't want to go later if I don't change hostname (because of "-" as first character) but it's OK to change it to something else and installer goes later. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [lucid] Ubiquity suggests default hostname as "-laptop-laptop-laptop-laptop-laptop" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
