Re: Mike Steigerwalt (#227): - By "the BIT6 spam" and "the networking issues", are you referring to #162? - do you have a multi-core machine? If so, disabling ACPI may also disable all cores but one. Could you check that your machine can still use all its CPU cores? (cat /proc/cpuinfo).
