Please try to extract the installer syslog from the running
installation.  One good way to do so even when the main installer
interface is hung, assuming that you have another computer accessible by
network from the one being installed, is to press Alt-F2 to get to the
second virtual console, press Enter to start a shell there, type 'anna-
install openssh-client-udeb', and then use scp to copy /var/log/syslog
somewhere else.  Then attach it to this bug.
