bug reproduced at ubuntu and xubuntu "PC (Intel x86) desktop CD" (9.10)
I'm trying to install ubuntu and xubuntu at low resource old PC.
Installation stucks after choosing language while trying to open region
selection graphical window.
I suggest to make thinner screen for region selection.
BTW: installation from "PC (Intel x86) alternate install CD" xubuntu
9.10 works fine.
