Maybe I missed this but where do I add DisableIRQ in xorg.conf?? I reccomend that the driver be spearated from the kernel. Perhaps put the extra .deb on the cd so that it can be installed via synaptic (like the ndiswrapper driver) (for the next ubuntu release that is). This would stop the problems for those who have freezes etc. And would allow those for whom the driver works well to still have easy access to it (w/o having to be connected to the internet.
