In OpenOffice, the bold and italic buttons appear to change the font style, although I'm not a typography expert and can't verify that the styles look correct.
In Inkscape all the styles are visible in the font dialog, and Medium Italic appears to work correctly. The bold styles do not affect most characters, but typing all possible characters from I can get with my keyboard layout, surprisingly, the following characters *do* appear in boldface: £þřœəĸš–žðŋµč Also the euro-cent symbol in the example box of Inkscape's font selection dialog turns into boldface. None of the ASCII letters, digits or symbols seem to exist in the bold styles. -- bold and italic styles missing from the Beteckna TTF font https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/525649 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
