It really only finds one device... the size, etc., are output twice
because the disk is "revalidated" by the block layer to make sure it was
correct after it was brought up. It's annoying but harmless. As to why
there are two icons... Can you check your /etc/fstab and see if there
are two /dev/sda entries?
