I just did a new install of Edgy 32bit from the alternate CD, and the
exact same thing happens (where files/folders from /etc/skel do not get
copied to the user's directory). I did the install on another system,
but my partitions are setup similarly to the first system. I have a 50MB
/boot partition, and the rest is dedicated to a volume group (ubuntuVG)
with three logical volumes (swapLV is swap, homeLV is /home/joshua, and
ubuntuLV is /). Let me know if any other information is needed for this
to be confirmed by another person.
