I am working on a broblem found during Lucid alpha testing with the support people at the NTFS-3G project. However, it seems to be turning into a grub2 bug and not ntfs-3g related. Please see the discussion thread here:

I was able to reproduce the error never mounting the NTFS partition R+W with the ntfs3g driver. The support person hinted that maybe Grub2 is the source of the trouble.
