I don't know what you're talking about, to be honest. As far as I can
tell, Lucid has 1.9.6, and Debian has had 1.9.8 for over a week.
Also, it's not great surprise that the GNOME SVN is stale at 1.9.5,
given every GNOME project has moved to Git.
