Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

On all of my computers running Ubuntu, the window buttons will disappear
from view VERY OFTEN. I have my panel set to autohide and not expanded.
When this problem happens, I can open a Nautilus window and the problem
stops. It seems as if the panel just needs to be refreshed. Maybe the
bug is somewhere in the logic of how the panel is automatically
refreshed. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 but the problem has been present
since earlier releases. I thank you good people very much!
