Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Since update to Lucid Alpha, Clock, Weather, and Location controls have disappeared from status area with no discernible way to return them there. I have purged .gnome, .gnome2, .gconf, etc settings to restore gnome to default state. Note also in attached picture a second indicator for empathy that I cannot delete. I will file a separate bug for empathy since I don't feel this is related.
