Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
When adding a gtalk account, and after clicking Apply it doesn't connect to the gtalk. I installed Pidgin and connected to gtalk. And somehow empathy got connected when I changed the indicator-applet-session status to available. But the empathy status dropdown is disabled or I didn't see it in enabled state ever. indicator-applet-session Set status is greyed. Only after starting Pidgin, it will become enabled. Then I can close Pidgin. indicator-applet-session is in enabled state. But that empathy dropdown is disabled all the time. If I change the indicator-applet-session status, empathy status will also change. But I can't add custom status.
