Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
Following upgrade to Lucid Alpha 2, system freezes immediately after entering password. Can be worked around by booting in recovery mode, logging in through the command line, starting gdm and logging in again. Using workaround I have successfully enabled compiz effects (they had been disabled previously).
