When initially I applied the fix I was able to connect via my wireless adapter (Ralink RT2870) to my hidden WPA2 network intermittently. Shortly after I became unable to connect to the hidden network, but can connect when the SSID is broadcast. I definitely feel that this is something to do with this fix. There are no problems so far with a broadcast SSID.
