Hm, the latest version does have the 'exit 0' at the end of the file,
thus it must fail somewhere else. Can you please add these two lines
right after the first one to /etc/network/if-up.d/avahi-autoipd:
set -x
exec 2>/tmp/avahi-autoipd.log
and then reproduce the problem? This should create /tmp/avahi-
autoipd.log, can you please attach it here?
