As i was upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10 ( kernel 2.6.31-19 ), i had the same problem with my :Zolid Xpert TV7134 card. Thanks to youre solution of changing the card id ( to AVerMedia Cardbus TV/Radio (E501R) ), i've managed to get te card working again!!! Even better: the audio from the card stops when quitting Tvtime, while on Ubuntu 9.04 with the :Zolid card id, the audio kept playing. So, thanks a lot for your helping hand!!! Wim
