I am using 3.5.7 nobinonly-0ubuntu09.1o.1 with firefox modifications 0,8. I can not reproduce it, but I remember that crash happened anytime I used to play some plugins, but it is not necessary for the crash because sometimes it happens without any real reason. I really cannot track because the guide is not in my language and it would be so hard to do, but i can tell you about my java package: I believe it is java- common 0.30ubuntu5 with rhino, default j-re, etc.. java is 36 version of xubuntu-restricted-extras- Commonly used restricted packages.
