** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg When I use KMS on my notebook with 16:10 LVDS, Xorg defaults to fullscreen scaling mode. That causes incorrect aspect ratio for non- native 4:3 modes (they are scaled to 16:10). After running `xrandr --output LVDS1 --set "scaling mode" Aspect` is works as without KMS. E.g. 4:3 modes are displayed with black bar on sides. This default setting is especially annoying when running fullscreen games and is hard to solve for unexperienced users.
