I have a similar problem with EeePC 1101HA: sound doesn't work after hibernate. The problem occures when I put the machine into STD whlie connected to AC power, and then try to wake it up on battery, but if the machine was on battery when hibernating, waking up on battery works just fine (I actually need more testing, but for now it seems like this is the pattern).
Restarting ALSA doesn't bring sound back to life, and neither does "pulsaudio -k". When trying to play sound while the problem exists results in lines like Feb 8 18:02:38 pirx pulseaudio[13890]: ratelimit.c: 91 events suppressed Feb 8 18:03:47 pirx pulseaudio[13890]: ratelimit.c: 91 events suppressed appearing in /var/log/syslog -- Karmic sound does not work after hibernation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/422709 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
