You should really consider lowering the opening/close animations to 200 and minimize to 300. The animations are so quick at this point they seem to stutter. I have a decent graphics card and have been running Compiz some time. These settings are quite nice. This gives a nice transitioning open/close effect similar to the iPhone and Palm Pre. Overly quick does not necessarily always look and feel better.
