I can confirm that this is still a problem in Lucid Lynx, with the most recent updates, seems the only real solution that has been mentioned is to kill the process, or for now i just stopped the process and everything works fine. The question is why does it use up that much cpu, I don't use it on a regular basis but like to have it as an option.
