...and running Karmic with an old 2.6.29-Vanilla-kernel leads to the result that our suspend-problem is a pure, non-ubuntu kernel fault I fear ('cause it works). Couldn't get any kernel above 2.6.30 working with jaunty but with 2.6.30 in jaunty suspend still worked. Well, if you I'm right with the opinion it's a vanilla-kernel-problem, please report it to the kernel team or let me know how to do that...
