Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Since yesterday trying to open a given .ODT file with OOo 3.1.1 leads to a OOo
crash under Ubuntu 9.10. I never had such a problem since 3 years I am using
Ubuntu / OOo.
Just prior to this main issue OOo closed by itself when working on this new
.ODT file which I was able to save several times when working with it.
Now each time I am opening OOo, OOo is first trying to repair this new file but
even if OOo is saying it was repaired (tried more than 10 times) nothing is
hapening; i.e. no OOo launch or it is so quick that OOo opens et closes
very-very quickly.
If I am first launching OOo, OOo is trying all the time to repair this given
file and if I cancel this work OOo opens correctly and I can open all my other
.ODT files.
So it seems my concern is with this given new file (spent few hours to build
it) of about 12 pages for 1.8 MB with formated text and embedded pictures (so
with a very classical content).
My main issue is I cannot get back the unique content of this file and second
OOo is acting with a strange behavior.
