There hasn't been a glib2.0 update in Jaunty for over 4 months now, so which update are you referring to? If you've had a glib2.0 update in the last few days, then it's likely you've installed some packages from a third party PPA somewhere which is triggering this crash. If that's the case, then there's not a lot we can do (and this isn't the right place to report it).
