Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

This is a bug against write-protected wiki page:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter

Bug: An instruction says it's important to use the general term
"Software" in the appropriate places. A couple paragraphs later comes
"The application and package Descriptions should both be:" followed by a
text block that mixes in "application" where it seems it ought to be
"software". (As a side note, users might not know the difference between
the two words. It surprised me that people make a distinction, and I'm
otherwise a nitpick about words.)

** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
     Assignee: Matthew Paul Thomas (mpt)
         Status: New

** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu)
