I have the same problem with the same headset. The sound plays for a short while then I hear a click, the sound goes and anything that trys to access the headset freezes. I am using Kubuntu 6.06 with an ASUS K6000KM (A6QKM) laptop. I run Amarok using the Xine engine utilising ALSA and point it to plughw:1,0 ( have tried hw:1 also ). I then point Amarok to a wma based music file and it freezes 30 to 60 seconds later.
