this bug, seems to be a duplicate of this bug #307090.
Note the Andy's comment:
"AndyWhitcroft: does it resume if you request it do so by hand? If so
then this is an acpi wakeup issue. See bug 307090 in Launchpad as well
as the upstream bug 120132
I'm going to mark it as such.

acpi wakeup doesn't work with HP tx2510us unless hpet is disabled
