It seems I'm the only Thai who use Ubuntu Linux and try to access the web site.
I think I know the cause of this effect. IE was long born and it knew how to
deal with the old way of extracting year digit information from data of a
Date/Time type, a getyear() function I think, coming in as a javascript. This
capability seems to be embedded in its kernel so that even the latest version
still functions the same way as does the old versions. New version of Firefox
pick only the new way of the procedure as does the new version of JVM,
including Sun's. I have had an experience of error messages from a JVM saying
somethings like "The use of ... at line ... is deprecated..." when I attempted
to run a java application having this kind of function on a machine having a
JVM newer than j2sdk-1.4.1-07 installed. I know that I should inform the
webmasters of the sites in question to improve their web pages but just feel
reluctant to do that. I love Ubuntu and Firefox so much that I cannot bear this
embarrassing situation.
A work around might be appreciated me during waiting for a fix.
Thanks.
