When I do a 'aplay -l' I see that there are 2 alsa devices <snip> g...@guru-laptop:/etc/init.d$ aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC268 Analog [ALC268 Analog] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 6: Si3054 Modem [Si3054 Modem] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 g...@guru-laptop:/etc/init.d$ arecord -l </snip>
Could this be an ordering issue with the devices? And why do Software modem and Sound card have the same card number? -- Sound doesn't work on boot until after restarting alsa manually https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/511018 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
