Ivan, Thanks for your report. It looks like you are experiencing hardware problems not related to Ubuntu (just a coincidence that you were installing the system). Have you tried resetting the BIOS on your system? You are using an older model laptop, you may need to replace the system battery, or the computer could just be suffering from age. You could also try flashing the BIOS if you can get a version from the manufacturer's website.
