but i have used my personal method to set my printer -.- just because my
printer it's not a well supported  printer

like you can seee i have set browsing localhost:631 
and then editing the configuration
kdesudo kate /etc/cups/printers.conf

 file and using

lpoptions -d “hp_photosmart_7700_series”

to set like default printer...
