Here's another complaint about not being able anymore to load custom DSDT's:
I have a one year old HP 6830s laptop. It has a very noisy fan (when running Linux). I managed to fix that by tweaking the DSDT resulting is a nice quiet laptop. I upgraded to 9.10 and tried to do the same trick, but no, finally ended up here in this bug report. Any chance this bug can be fixed, I would really appreciate .
