I'm struggling with this issue since Intrepid. I cannot help solving it as I'm not a developer, but I'm wondering if this will be solved in Lucid so I won't have to install Network Manager Gnome on KDE, which is always annoying since I don't have Internet access to get the GNOME dependencies.
