Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hamster-applet

Specifying an activity as "in progress" in the "add earlier activity" or
"update activity" windows, or by simply selecting an activity in the
hamster applet popup, fails in the following ways:

1. The applet shows "No activity"
2. The "Today" area of the applet shows the in progress activity as if it were
completed and took hundreds of thousands of hours
3. Popping up the overview window locks up hamster (the overview window is
grayed out) while week's total bar slowly grows to show that hundreds of
thousands of hours work time.
4. When hamster unlocks itself and ungrays the overview window, it shows that
ridiculous work time for the in progress activity.

If I don't use in progress activities, hamster works OK.

Note I'm using the AMD64 version of Ubuntu 9.10, with all packages up-
to-date, and hamster-applet 2.28.0-0ubuntu1.1. I'm happy to test
patches or help debug.
