I also got a python 2.4 crash along with my bittorrent crash. I downloaded a cd and Ubuntu Feisty Fawn herd 5 and after 693.4 MB it crashed python. I had only uploaded a little less than 0.4 so I let it run overnight till 1.89+. When I clicked finish, it offered to let me report this bug.
PS I use Yahoo with a free account and a paid account, so I must clear cookies after each eMail usage in order to switch accounts.
