Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wpasupplicant

In the process of debugging a failing wireless connection, I noticed
lots of messages is /var/log/syslog stating that "Supplicant state
changed: 0". Sometimes it says "Supplicant state changed: 1". The
problem is that these messages are not documented anywhere, so the
information is essentially useless.

My suggestion is that the log messages should be modified to state in
words what is going on.

Alternatively, the man-page of wpa_supplicant (or possibly
networkmanager) could include a table giving an overview of what the
different states mean.

I am using Hardy 8.04.3 LTS

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: wpasupplicant (Ubuntu) => network-manager (Ubuntu)
