Yes, or if you would like to try, you can try the latest intel-drm-next kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-next/ . It has this patch: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2009-December/005250.html which should fix the problem.
