Out of curiosity, was this updated already? I noticed that kvm was upgraded to a newer version (15-1ubuntu1), but now I again get the message "kernel is too old". And qemu is run instead.
I checked linux-image, it does seem to provide kvm-modules-2, but that doesn't seem to do its magic.
