I have the same problem - log flooded with [21047.836905] VFS: busy inodes on changed media or resized disk sr0 [21047.847688] VFS: busy inodes on changed media or resized disk sr0 [21048.881934] VFS: busy inodes on changed media or resized disk sr0 and no recognition of media inserted in the drive. Eject works, so some kind of connection does exist.
The DVD drive has not worked on the previous Ubuntu (8.04) either but I works under M$ Windows. If somebody needs more information, just ask. Otherwise just count this as one more vote. /Patrik -- Dvd drive not supported for Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/464134 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
