Hi Dave! I don't see any conflict in the log you passed. What I do see is that Ubuntu One is hashing a lot of files.
This is a need step before uploading the files to the server, and if you throw a lot of big files to the Ubuntu One directory, you'll surely notice a lot of CPU usage.
