@Oliver, are you commenting on the correct bug? This bug is about a failure to upload a package which built successfully.
This is the text of the rejection: 2009-12-19 12:15:32 WARNING Upload was rejected: 2009-12-19 12:15:32 WARNING libclutter-gtk-0.10-0_0.10.2-0ubuntu4_armel.deb: Version older than that in the archive. 0.10.2-0ubuntu4 <= 0.10.2-1 2009-12-19 12:15:32 WARNING libclutter-gtk-0.10-dev_0.10.2-0ubuntu4_armel.deb: Version older than that in the archive. 0.10.2-0ubuntu4 <= 0.10.2-1 2009-12-19 12:15:32 WARNING libclutter-gtk-0.10-dbg_0.10.2-0ubuntu4_armel.deb: Version older than that in the archive. 0.10.2-0ubuntu4 <= 0.10.2-1 Indeed I can confirm that we currently have 0.10.2-1 packages in ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports for lucid/armel. The relevant package was built from clutter-gtk-0.10 though: Package: libclutter-gtk-0.10-0 Source: clutter-gtk-0.10 Version: 0.10.2-1 What happened is that Debian kept clutter-gtk at 0.8.x and added clutter-gtk-0.10 for 0.10.x while we bumped clutter-gtk to 0.10.x. What we need to do is review the packaging changes of clutter-gtk in Ubuntu from 0.10.2-0ubuntu1 to 0.10.2-0ubuntu4 and see whether these are relevant for clutter-gtk-0.10, and look for packages which would still need the 0.8.x libs. The failure to upload on armel is presumably only a timing issue: last clutter-gtk on i386 finished on 2009/12/7 and clutter-gtk-0.10 was autosynced and built on 2009/12/8, but on armel clutter-gtk was given back on the 19th while clutter-gtk-0.10 had already built on the 8th. -- failed to upload on armel/lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/503191 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
