I can confirm the bug in Lucid. It seems to be regression.
Once I upgraded Karmic to Lucid there is sometimes problem with sound - it is
muted after login to Gnome.
I have to open "Sound Preferences" on gnome panel and uncheck "Mute" in output
volume. I tried it to uncheck it using context menu on icon with amplifier, but
doesn't work.

Ubuntu 10.04, amd64
alsa-utils: 1.0.21-1ubuntu3
kernel: 2.6.32-9-generic
