IMO it's common behaviour of such applications that they are executed on
startup by default. It's similar to apache, exim, dhcp server etc... If
you afraid that users will complain, you can add a configuration dialog
asking whether start remuco by default or not.

But if it is possible to hook remuco onto amarok loading, it will be the
best solution.
