I don't know about the formal bug squad procedures, but I'm just
guessing that if a bug is essentially the same then it should be marked
as a dupe. That's obvious... What harm will it do to just mark one as a
dupe of the other? I selected this bug as the original because this is
marked as affecting the Ubuntu release notes and is bigger in terms of
duplicates and people affected. Marking one as a dupe would, I assume,
add up the number of people affected thus placing this bug in it's
rightful place in the search results, better demonstrating it's
importance.
