Hi. Actually, I learned just a couple of days ago, while testing the same issue with ocrad (Bug #295542), that the cause was TeXLive 2007 and TeXLive 2008 version of install-info which is in conflict with system's version of install-info, so solving bug #295542 automatically solves this one too.
