Public bug reported: Binary package hint: grub2
Hi All, In an attempt to speed up booting i set CONCURRENCY to startpar in /etc/init.d/rc, this however resulted in undesired sideeffect - namely that grub2 stalls on the following boot. I've been poking arround and to me it seems that the recordfail parameter in the grubenv is not reset by the script /etc/init.d/grub- common on a successfull boot. This seems similar to earlier bugreports pointing to a faulty /etc/network/interfaces file as the source of the problem, but this file seems just fine in my case. Is it possible that there is a new variant of this problem pertaining to the CONCURRENCY parameter?
