I am also attaching a screenshot from the wincfg audio. Under Alsadriver (which you can't really see) there is no mixer listed at all. (It normally shows up at the end of the list, after MIDI-In Devices.) But under OSS Driver -- output, input and mixer all show mixerIO, which is correct.
